Active Week 2024
What a fantastic week we had for Active Week 2024. Thank you so much to our Active School’s Committee who organised and led a fun-filled week with so many exciting activities including hockey, karate, soccer, rugby, orienteering, dance, Olympic handball, cycling workshops and GAA. Thank you also to the coaches and volunteers who delivered workshops and taster sessions every day for our pupils to enjoy!
FAI Regional Primary 5’s Final
Congratulations to our Senior Girls Soccer team on their magnificent performance on Monday 22nd April. Having qualified from the local competition the girls were in the regional final in Independant Park yesterday where they were runners up, making it all the way to the final and were leading up to the last moments of the game. Unfortunately the opposition equalised & gained the advantage in extra time. We are extremely proud of our girls who played with such determination, passion and of course skill.
Thank you girls for being a credit to your school and giving us a fantastic day out in the sunshine. A huge thank you to Mr. O’Donovan for giving of his time to organise & coach throughout the competition.

We were delighted to welcome Bishop Colton for a special visit to celebrate his 25th Anniversary. We enjoyed a very special Congratulations Assembly led by Bishop Colton, who handed out this week’s certificates and he was delighted with the gifts presented to him for this special occasion. Bishop Colton also planted a tree with the help of 6th class on our school grounds.
